SB450-AA1,1,11 At the locations indicated, amend the bill as follows:

SB450-AA1,1,3 21. Page 5, line 1: delete "A political" and substitute " A Except as provided in
3sub. (1m), a political".

SB450-AA1,1,4 42. Page 5, line 11: after that line insert:

SB450-AA1,1,5 5" Section 11m. 173.19 (1m) of the statutes is created to read:

SB450-AA1,1,96 173.19 (1m) Notwithstanding sub. (1), a political subdivision or person
7contracting under s. 173.15 (1) may not euthanize the animal taken into custody
8under s. 173.13 (1) (a) 1. before 8 days after custody is taken unless euthanasia is
9necessary for humane reasons.".
