ASSEMBLY AMENDMENT 1, TO ASSEMBLY BILL 870

AB870-AA1,1,1 At the locations indicated, amend the bill as follows:

AB870-AA1,1,3 1. Page 1, line 2: after “camps" insert “and providing an exemption from emergency rule procedures".

AB870-AA1,1,4 2. Page 1, line 5: after “licensed" insert “in good standing".

AB870-AA1,1,7 3. Page 1, line 8: after “448.04 (1) (a)" insert “and who is not under active investigation by a licensing authority or law enforcement authority in any state, federal, or foreign jurisdiction".

AB870-AA1,1,9 4. Page 1, line 8: after “may" insert “at a recreational and educational camp licensed under s. 97.67 (1)".

AB870-AA1,1,10 5. Page 1, line 8: delete “at a camp in this state".

AB870-AA1,2,3 6. Page 2, line 2: after “subchapter." insert “A person shall submit to the board a form provided by the board before practicing under this section. The board may promulgate rules establishing the form to be submitted under this section.".

AB870-AA1,2,5 “ Section 2e. Nonstatutory provisions.

AB870-AA1,2,17 (1) Using the procedure under section 227.24 of the statutes, the medical examining board may promulgate rules establishing the form that a person shall submit before practicing under section 448.033 of the statues. Notwithstanding section 227.24 (1) (a) and (3) of the statutes, the medical examining board is not required to provide evidence that promulgating a rule under this subsection as an emergency rule is necessary for the preservation of the public peace, health, safety, or welfare and is not required to provide a finding of emergency for a rule promulgated under this subsection. Notwithstanding section 227.24 (1) (c) and (2) of the statutes, emergency rules promulgated under this subsection may remain in effect until May 1, 2019, or the date on which permanent rules take effect, whichever is sooner, and the effective period may not be further extended under section 227.24 (2) of the statutes.

AB870-AA1,2,19 (1) This act takes effect on the 60th day after the day of publication.”.
