1“(c) If an agency determines under s. 227.137 (3) (b) 2. that $10,000,000 or more
2in implementation and compliance costs of a proposed rule are reasonably expected
3to be incurred by or passed along to businesses, local governmental units, and
4individuals over any 2-year period as a result of the proposed rule, the legislative
5audit bureau shall conduct an audit of the agency's economic impact analysis. If the
6legislative audit bureau finds that the actual and quantifiable benefits of the
7proposed rule under s. 227.137 (3) (c) offset all of the implementation and compliance
8costs under s. 227.137 (3) (b), the agency may continue promulgating the proposed
9rule.”.
