SENATE AMENDMENT 1, TO SENATE BILL 300

August 29, 2017 - Offered by Senator Wanggaard.

SB300-SA1,1,1 At the locations indicated, amend the bill as follows:

SB300-SA1,1,3 1. Page 1, line 5: delete “Whoever" and substitute “Except as provided in par. (b) or (c), whoever".

SB300-SA1,1,4 2. Page 1, line 7: delete “A misdemeanor" and substitute “I felony".

SB300-SA1,1,5 3. Page 1, line 7: after that line insert:

SB300-SA1,1,9 “(b) If the person who solicits the intimate or private representation has attained the age of 18 years but has not attained the age of 21 years and if the child solicited is not more than 3 years younger than the person who solicits the intimate or private representation, he or she is guilty of a Class A misdemeanor.” .

SB300-SA1,1,10 4. Page 2, line 1: delete “(b)" and substitute “(c)".

SB300-SA1,2,2 5. Page 2, line 2: delete “is under the age of 18" and substitute “has not attained the age of 18 years".
