8(1) The department of military affairs shall, by January 1, 2027, submit to the
9chief clerk of each house of the legislature for distribution to the legislature under
10s. 13.172 (2), a report that includes all of the following:

1(a) A summary of the status of the emergency services IP network required
2under s. 256.35 (3s) (b).

(b) A summary of the total amount of grants issued under s. 256.35 (3s) (bx) 2.
4for each of the following purposes in each fiscal year that the grant program under
5s. 256.35 (3s) (bx) has operated:

61. Reimbursement of incumbent local exchange carriers' costs associated with
7the IP-based transport of Next Generation 911.

2. Reimbursement of incumbent local exchange carriers' costs associated with
9the database used to operate Next Generation 911.

3. Reimbursement of incumbent local exchange carriers' costs associated with
11the purchase, installation, and maintenance of Next Generation 911 equipment.

(c) A projection for additional necessary costs for reimbursement of incumbent

(d) A recommendation as to whether the grant program under s. s. 256.35 (3s)
