I am pleased to present to you the 2000 annual report on Affirmative Action for Wisconsin State Government. The report symbolizes the continuing commitment by the State of Wisconsin and the Department of Employment Relations to provide equal employment opportunities.
The state government workforce is becoming more representative of Wisconsin's rich and diverse heritage. We will continue to seek ways to eliminate underutilized job groups in the workforce while maintaining timely and quality service delivery to our customers.
We will continue to move forward building on the knowledge gathered from the past and we will uphold diversity as a fundamental principle.
