8of the legislature for distribution in the manner provided under section 13.172 (2) of
9the statutes, as affected by this act. All other state agencies shall cooperate with the

15The department shall expend funds not to exceed $650,000 from the appropriation
16under section 20.395 (3) (cq) or (cx) of the statutes, as affected by this act, for the
17repaving project.

19(a) The department of transportation shall prepare a report that identifies the
20amounts of moneys that the department of transportation intended to expend in the

23expended, and shall submit the report to the cochairpersons of the joint committee
24on finance by August 30, 1995.

1(b) Upon receiving the report under paragraph (a), the joint committee on
2finance may transfer all or part of the moneys from the appropriation accounts
3identified in the report to any of the appropriation accounts under section 20.395 (1)

5the appropriation account under section 20.395 (1) (bq) or (bu) of the statutes, the

12fee under section 168.12 of the statutes for each of the months in the quarter, by

15department of agriculture, trade and consumer protection shall jointly develop a

18submit a report containing their findings, conclusions and recommendations,
19including recommended statutory changes, to the joint committee on finance by
20September 30, 1995.

7interactive telecommunications equipment at institutions within the system. The

9of the statutes, as created by this act, in the 1996-97 fiscal year until the secretary
10of administration approves the plan.

23Wisconsin-Madison. The purposes of the study shall be:

17paragraph (d). If, within 14 working days after the date of submittal of the plan, the
18cochairpersons of the committee notify the board of regents that the committee has
19scheduled a meeting for the purpose of reviewing the plan, the board of regents may
20enter into a contract for the study only upon approval of the committee.

8identified in section 20.923 (4) (j), (4m) or (5) of the statutes may be paid a salary
9during the period beginning on the effective date of this paragraph and ending on
10June 30, 1997, at an annualized rate which equals or exceeds $100,000 per year or
11the annualized salary paid to the incumbent in the position occupied by the employe
12on January 1, 1995, whichever is greater.

13(b) Paragraph (a) does not apply to that portion of the annualized salary of an
14employe equivalent to any salary increase that was granted to the incumbent in the

2System shall submit a report to the joint committee on finance recommending how
3savings in fiscal year 1995-96 of $8,049,000 and in fiscal year 1996-97 of
4$15,700,900 resulting from budgetary efficiency measures should be allocated
5among the system's general purpose revenue appropriations. The recommendation
6shall include a specific plan that identifies the programs, positions and expenditure
7categories to be eliminated or reduced; and does not include reductions in financial
8aid programs or energy costs or reestimates of debt service payments. If the
9cochairpersons of the committee do not notify the University of Wisconsin System
10that the committee has scheduled a meeting for the purpose of reviewing the report
11within 14 working days after the date of the submittal, the recommendation may be
12implemented as proposed by the system. If, within 14 working days after the date
13of the submittal, the cochairpersons of the committee notify the system that the
14committee has scheduled a meeting for the purpose of reviewing the report, the
15recommendation may be implemented only upon approval of the committee.

17University of Wisconsin System shall submit to the secretary of administration a
18plan identifying his or her intended reductions to system capital budget staff.

4a meeting for the purpose of reviewing the report within 14 working days after
5receipt of the report.

15during the 1995-96 fiscal year for a course that was completed in the spring semester

7that primarily relate to employes identified under subsection (4) (c) shall become the
8assets and liabilities of the University of Wisconsin Hospitals and Clinics Board.

172. On June 29, 1996, any matter identified under subdivision 1. that primarily
18relates to employes identified under subsection (4) (c) shall become a pending matter
19of the University of Wisconsin Hospitals and Clinics Board and all materials
20submitted to or actions taken by the board of regents with respect to the pending
21matter are considered as having been submitted to or taken by the University of
22Wisconsin Hospitals and Clinics Board.
