Whereas, reformulated gasoline is causing illness among motorists in
4Southeastern Wisconsin — many people have complained of headaches, dizziness
5and nausea; and

Whereas, hundreds of people have reported that reformulated gasoline has
7caused a marked reduction in the performance of their automobiles and small
8engines, with some reports of mileage decreases as high as 25%; now, therefore, be

10Resolved by the senate, the Assembly concurring, That the members of the
11Wisconsin legislature request Carol Browner, administrator of the federal
12Environmental Protection Agency, to suspend indefinitely the requirement that
13reformulated gasoline be sold in Southeastern Wisconsin; and, be it further

14Resolved, That the senate chief clerk shall provide a copy of this joint
15resolution to Administrator Browner and to each member of this state's
16congressional delegation.
