AB369,1,2 1An Act relating to: grants for bicycle and pedestrian facilities and making an
2appropriation.
Analysis by the Legislative Reference Bureau
Under current law, the Department of Transportation may make grants to
counties, cities, villages, or towns to assist in the planning, development, and
construction of bicycle and pedestrian facilities. This bill increases funding for those
grants.

printed as an appendix to this bill.
The people of the state of Wisconsin, represented in senate and assembly, do
enact as follows:
AB369, s. 1 3Section 1. Fiscal changes.
AB369,2,64 (1) Bicycle and pedestrian facilities grants. In the schedule under section
520.005 (3) of the statutes for the appropriation to the department of transportation
6under section 20.395 (2) (oq) of the statutes, as affected by the acts of 2011, the dollar
7amount is increased by $2,500,000 for the first fiscal year of the fiscal biennium in

1which this subsection takes effect to increase funding for bicycle and pedestrian
2facilities grants. In the schedule under section 20.005 (3) of the statutes for the
3appropriation to the department of transportation under section 20.395 (2) (oq) of the
4statutes, as affected by the acts of 2011, the dollar amount is increased by $2,500,000
5for the second fiscal year of the fiscal biennium in which this subsection takes effect
6to increase funding for bicycle and pedestrian facilities grants.
