1An Act to amend 165.845 (title); and
to create 165.845 (1) (d) of the statutes;
2relating to: reporting of sexual assault and domestic abuse crimes.
Analysis by the Legislative Reference Bureau
This bill requires that the Department of Justice publish an annual report on
sexual assault offenses and domestic abuse cases reported in the state of Wisconsin.
Under current law, DOJ collects data on these types of crime, but there is no
publication of the data it collects. This bill requires that DOJ analyze and publish
the data that is currently being collected.
The people of the state of Wisconsin, represented in senate and assembly, do
enact as follows:

1department's Internet site in an interactive format and shall include, at a minimum,
