This joint resolution calls for an advisory referendum on the question of
whether Wisconsin should allow for the use of and safe access to marijuana for
medical purposes by individuals with debilitating medical conditions with a written
recommendation from a licensed Wisconsin physician. The referendum is to be held
at the next general election occurring not sooner than 45 days after adoption of the
resolution.
