Analysis by the Legislative Reference Bureau
This bill reduces from $21.25 to $14.25 the fee imposed for a resident deer
hunting license, archer hunting license, or crossbow hunting license issued to a
veteran who is 70 years of age or older.
This bill also prohibits a fee from being charged to a veteran who is 70 years of
age or older when issued a resident archer hunting license if the person holds a
resident crossbow hunting license, or when issued a resident crossbow hunting
license if the person holds a resident archer hunting license. Under current law, this
fee is $2.25.
