On July 14, 2006, the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction submitted a proposed rule order to the Wisconsin Legislative Council Rules Clearinghouse.
Analysis
The proposed rule amends ch.
PI 21, relating to driver's education requirements and aid.
Agency Procedure for Promulgation
The proposed rule brings ch.
PI 21 into conformity with ss.
115.28 (11) and
121.41 (1), Stats. Therefore, pursuant to s.
227.16 (2) (b), Stats., the department will not hold public hearings regarding these rules.

The proposed rule repeal brings an existing rule into conformity with a statute that has been changed to no longer require the department's involvement in CESA administrator appointment activities. Therefore, pursuant to s.
227.16 (2) (b), Stats., the department will not hold public hearings regarding these rules.
