________ ________, of the town, has made and filed with the town clerk a report containing the plans and specifications of the project, an estimate of the entire cost of the project, and an estimate, as to each parcel affected, of the net amount of benefits [if applicable over damages for property taken or the net amount of damages over benefits. When work is done in the exercise of the police power, only benefits need be estimated.]
Notice is given that the report on file may be inspected at the office of the town clerk [specify days and hours].
Notice is further given that the town board will hold a public hearing concerning the matters contained in the preliminary resolution and the report at ________ __.m. on ________ ___, 20__, at ______________. All persons interested, or their agents or attorneys, may appear and be heard.

Note: This notice should be published as a class 1 notice under chapter 985, Wis. stats., and a copy of this notice must be mailed at least 10 days before the hearing date to every interested person. The hearing must be not less than 10 nor more than 40 days after publication.
