1220.929 Agency drafts or warrants. The secretary of administration may
13authorize any state agency to issue drafts or warrants drawn on the state treasury.
14Such drafts or warrants may be issued only in connection with purchase orders
15authorized under subch. IV of ch. 16 and may not exceed $300 per draft or warrant.

state treasurer secretary of administration shall pay such drafts or warrants as
17presented
. The secretary of administration and shall audit the purchase orders
18issued. Any purchase order that is disapproved by the secretary as unlawful or
19unauthorized shall be returned by the secretary to the state agency for
20reimbursement
to the state treasurer. The secretary shall make written regulations
21for the implementation of this section. The secretary may require any state agency
22to utilize one or more separate depository accounts to implement this section. The
23illegal or unauthorized use of purchase orders and drafts or warrants under this
24section is subject to the remedies specified in s. 16.77.

(3) (b) Notwithstanding s. 13.48 (14) (c), the department, under the
3authority and procedures established in par. (a), may sell and convey the Wisconsin
4national guard armory located at 1225 E. Henry Clay Street, Whitefish Bay,
5Milwaukee County and other properties that the department determines are no
6longer needed for military purposes. The proceeds of a sale shall be used first to pay
7off all bonds, all or a part of which were used to construct or purchase the property.
8Any moneys remaining from the sale shall be paid into the state treasury and
