I am writing to inform you that as Chair of the Assembly Committee on Environment, I have created a Subcommittee on Wetlands Policy. I have appointed Representatives Kedzie, Johnsrud, Duff, Bock and Black to this subcommittee. Representative Kedzie will serve as chair.
It is my hope the Subcommittee on Wetlands Policy will address issues and seek consensus specific to wetlands including compensatory mitigation, regulatory structure, and any other relevant wetlands policy items. It is also my hope the subcommittee will submit recommendations to the Assembly Committee on Environment in order that legislative action may be taken this session.
