2003 WISCONSIN ACT 172
An Act to renumber and amend 13.91 (2) (f); and to create 13.91 (2) (e) of the statutes; relating to: Legislative Council staff director attendance at certain midwest and national meetings in which the Commission on Uniform State Laws participates (suggested as remedial legislation by the Legislative Council staff).
The people of the state of Wisconsin, represented in senate and assembly, do enact as follows:
Law Revision Committee prefatory note: This bill is a remedial legislation proposal, requested by the Legislative Council staff and introduced by the Law Revision Committee under s. 13.83 (1) (c) 4., stats. After careful consideration of the various provisions of the bill, the Law Revision Committee has determined that this bill makes minor substantive changes in the statutes, and that these changes are desirable as a matter of public policy.
172,1 Section 1. 13.91 (2) (e) of the statutes is created to read:
13.91 (2) (e) Attend and participate in, personally or through a designated employee of the legislative council staff, midwest and national meetings in which the commission on uniform state laws participates and that will benefit the operations of the legislative council staff.
172,2 Section 2. 13.91 (2) (f) of the statutes is renumbered 13.91 (2) (d) and amended to read:
13.91 (2) (d) Attend, personally or through a professional employee of the legislative council staff designated by him or her, all meetings of the commission on uniform state laws under s. 13.55 and the midwest and national meetings in which the commission participates.
